The Shop, Tucson's premier soccer specialty store and uniform team dealer is looking to hire a Retail Sales Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify customer needs.
• Explain products and services to customers.
• Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock.
• Process customer orders.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and when unable to resolve escalate appropriately and effectively.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
• Follow through with customer requests by either handling or knowing how and when to escalate to management.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years work experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an outstanding shopping experience
• Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
• Flexible availability – including weekends, and holidays
• English/ Spanish bi-lingual and Soccer experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
